Pilkington Profilit® – Profiled glass system
Pilkington Profilit® glazing system is based on u-channel glasses and accommodating aluminum and PVC- inlay profiles. Pilkington Profilit® system is tested by time and provides optimal solution to utilize day light and create stunning glass architecture.
Profilit® glasses are produced according to EN 572-7 standard and come in many different widths, surface patterns and colors. Installations even up to 7 meter glass length possible with special wind anchoring.
Pilkington Profilit® system has evolved with time and today Ug-values down to 1.2 – 0.6 are possible depending on glass configuration. As double or triple glazed configuration Profilit® system provides also excellent sound insulation up to Rw 42- 57 db.
